I just found out I am pregnant, an I was having problems with my Virginia like itching, redness, puffing, an yellowish green discharge! I went to the doctor they told me I was 2 months an that I had a STD which I was upset, I asked them what type do I have they didn't know they gave me antibiotics cause they said it was a infection! But they were quick to tell me it was STD, but they couldn't tell me what kind of STD was it!! There are a lot of STD's but if that's what I had why couldn't they tell me, which was it? I am upset cause know when my records are pulled they will think I had STD's which I really haven't had cause if I did they would had been able to tell me which one it was! What should I do? I think its time to switch doctors, RIGHT!

Do you mean you are having problems with your vagina? Virginia is a state, vagina is a sexual organ. ;)

Not all STDs can be diagnosed from examination only. Most need to be sent to a laboratory for proper identification, and this can take anywhere from a few hours to several days. Antibiotics are the standard treatment for most STDs.

Lol yeah
I did all that an they called me from the doctors office and said it came back negative so why did I get a shot that burned like crazy if I didn't have an STD they said just to be safe! But now I have to pay for that shot an I didn't need it... an they still didn't tell me anything only that it was an infection! It just don't make sense. That's what I pay them to do right to find out what was wrong an just telling me it was an infection isn't enough. What kind of infection there are many kinds I'm sure. An how did I get it. How can I proved this from happening again all they said was it was a STD so I said which one they said an infection. So I said what kind they said miss we just discussed this... I am just pissed I can't get the answer that I want I feel like the treated me for something they have no clue what it was an that they can careless. Its hard to find a different doctor I just don't know how to take this situation everyone says switch doctors but what if they didn't treat me that they only masted the problem. It happens every time I get pregnant... this is my third and last pregnancy. An I just feel ripped off an used... thank you for replying
