    how do I figure out rise over run?
    example:
    m=rise
    ___
    run
    so..
    = 3
    _
    6

    so what do u do next I don't no if u could please tell ill apreaciate that:)

    Where did the values for rise = 3 and run = 6 come from?

    If you can put the equation into the form y = mx +b then the coefficient 'm' is the slope.
