    Kenmore Elite frontloader
Doesn't seem to spin out. Washes agitates back and forth but seems to just sit and click during spin cycle.

Kenmore Elite frontloader washes turning in both directions but does not spin out. I seem to hear a soft clicking sound as it sits there.

Here is a manual to troubleshoot this machine: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/8010163/Ken...sher_Elite.pdf
I would never buy anyone's front-loading machine because they are all junk. Some are built with metal combinations like aluminum and stainless steel that cause rapid corrosion due to electrolysis. When you combine metals of different reactivities like the above or copper and aluminum the more reactive metal corrodes and you can measure electricity produced by the reaction. Like putting a strip of copper and a strip of zinc into a lemon and getting 1.5 volts as the zinc corrodes. This could be your problem because the front-loaders are built with aluminum pulleys and a stainless steel tub and the pulleys corrode into pieces. The Kenmore is one of the machines that has this fault and here is a video showing another machine by the same manufacturer: Whirlpool Duet Washer disintegrates - 4 years old - YouTube
It costs about $900 to fix and it will only last about 4 years unless you can bolt on a piece od zinc to act as a sacrificial metal. See also: Whirlpool Products...BEWARE!!! - YouTube
