My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 and 1/2 years, and we're both 18. When we met it was like magic but as time went on he show less and less interest in me. He hardly shows me any affection, and treats me more like his friend than his girlfriend. I always ask him why he treats me this way but he avoids the question every time. I really don't know what to do.

Its not unusual to be so use to each other it seems like friends, but after all this time you can't talk about it, now that seems like maybe you are in a bit of a rut, and too comfortable with each other, or maybe he has things on his mind like his future.

He sounds distracted and that's not odd for 18 year olds who have choices to make. Maybe even you are wondering what comes next and are getting insecure,or needy, and expect more to feel better. Made any future plans, like college, or jobs?
