I was on birth control but then was off it for about 2-3 weeks. During those 2-3 weeks my husband and I had intercourse. I started taking the pill again about 2 weeks ago and I was supposed to start my period last week. I started bleeding a very small amount yesterday but it stopped today. Could I be pregnant?

Yes of course. You can always get pregnant. It's just a matter of probability. Extremely low if you take each pill on time, and then a bit higher and higher as you skip pills. And you can bleed when pregnant too.

Even on the pills, they are not 100 percent so you can always get pregnant, when you don't take them, it increases the chances greatly

Yes,take a HPT. It may be off because you were on the pill, off, then on again. That can really mess with your cycle. I know because I was on birth control for 7 years. I've experienced a lot. I would take a test, if positive, CONGRATS if negative, wait a week or 2 take another, if still negative and no period, go see your doctor. He may suggest a blood test. Good luck!
