My landlord found a new tenant 2 months prior to my lease end. They asked me to vacate. Before the new tenant would move in on June 15th. I did so by June 1st, had the house professionally cleaned and turned in the keys. Yet on June 13th my ex neighbor called stating an eviction notice was taped to the door, according to the form I am being sued for 1 months rent and to be in court on June 21st. Why is this happening, I only complied with their request??
