    Pump Running
    Hello,
My question has to do do with our pump staring and stopping when my wife is watering the garden and her flowers. I know it would be better for the pump if it would run the whole time but I don't know the pump output cap. Or how or if there is a way that to solve this problem so we don't burn out another pump before its prime.
    Thank You

Is your pump above ground or in the well?

Assuming you are using a pressure tank, correct? If so, then is it a bladder tank or a galvanized tank?

It is possible the tank is waterlogged. There should be an airvalve at the top of the tank. Push the valve stem a few seconds. If water comes out, then the tank, assuming it is a bladder tank, needs to be replaced.
