My ex husband was awarded our property in divorce. I was removed from the title and all claims for that property however I'm still on the loan. We want to add my name back to the title for the purposes of a loan modification (semi refi) because he is giving me the house back. I will be going through my attorney to get the property back and change the decree but in the meantime I just need my name on the title to do this quick refi. How do we go about doing this? Will it be difficult since I'm still on the loan?
