Hi! My natural color is kind of ash brown.. but I've always had lots of highlights done.. I do not look good in dark hair.. I think :) anyway.. due to household budget cuts I had to do my own hair.. so I've decided to just bleach the whole thing. Couldn't do my own highlights.. especially on the back of my head.. so I've bleached my roots every few weeks.. my hair has been growing fast lately so it's been hard to keep up.. so now I would like to put some chunky lowlights in my natural color to blend in my roots... I've read that dying bleached hair with dark colors will turn it green and to avoid that I had to add red.. but can someone give me more specific info on this?? I got ash brown at sally's (Color brilliance medium ash brown 305420) and don't know what to do next.. do I get the same coloring crème in red and mix the two? I don't want it to turn out red.. or warm brown.. need it to be ashy.. someone please help!! Also what volume developer should I use?? THANKS!!
