    Child support
If I have the father give up his rights, can I still file for child support? The father is married and I don't want them to have anything to do with the child.

First you are laboring under a false assumption that the father CAN give up his rights. Sorry but it doesn't work that way.

Geez, maybe you should have thought about that before you opened your legs for him. Doesn't work that way either. He is the father and entitled to his rights should he choose to exercise them. You have the right to pursue child support from him.
