Should I change the fuel pump
Still working on the 03 dodge ram 2500 with 5.7L Hemi. Fuel pump cycles and fuel gauge is working, but no pressure reads on fuel pressure gauge at the fuel rail. Is this still a fuel pump issue, or is the fuel pump pressure regulator bad? Either way I'll have to drop the tank, but the fuel pump for this truck is expensive. Any suggestions would be great.

I would try to determine if the fuel pump is actually moving any fuel. If the regulator had failed, the fuel pressure would most likely go up.
With the key off and being very careful, loosen the fuel line at the first connection between the fuel pump and the engine. That's usually at the fuel filter but take a look. Keep some rags close by and be prepared for some fuel to spray. If it comes out like it's under pressure, the fuel pump is probably not the problem. If it just kind of trickles out, you will probably need the pump replaced.
