I have a new thermostat and I only have a red and white colored wires and on my new thermostat I have rc,rh,g,w,y,b,o I don't know what colors go where

Red to rh, and white to w. This will get you up and running. If you have a jumper between rh and rc, just leave it in, and if there is no jumper, this will be fine too.
