    Ask for help in relationships
I have no family to talk to about my situation so I am asking someone on here for genuine advice... I have been with my boyfriend for a year in about a weeks time. I am a single mother with two teenage boys - he has no children living at home. He comes to visit me every weekend stays from Friday night to Monday morning, he doesn't help out with food or gas or electric. I do the shopping for food and he has come with me on many occasions and hasn't offered to help out once. I find financially that I am struggling to get through week after week with an extra mouth to feed, as well as put petrol in my car, which we use most weekends to go out. He has his own business and a van, and a lotus which he only brings out when he decides to take it out. So its not as if he is like me and struggling. I don't know how to approach the subject without hurting feelings, but can't go on in a relationship that is one way, although I do love him. He hasn't once took me out for a meal of an evening, or even fish and chips on the beach, I always got to pack a picnic with food I have bought and take with us... PLEASE HELP...

Communication is key sweetheart. You're going to have to speak up or live with an extra mouth wide open.

Might I ask if you both are intimate with one another? Have sex often? Ever think of the possibility he may be after sex and not really care about anything else? They're all possibilities.
