Its broke if it does that much (meaning its not a blown fuse)... you will need to take it for service or replace it.

Even if you are slightly electronically inclined, I would remove the Back and open the power supply(where cord plugs into). And look for Bulging Capacitors, I have seen such a High problem with the caps, it is greater that 80% of most problems I see.
