I was given a rott for my birthday and I love him,chico. On the first night we put him in his krate but he kept whoning and wouldn't let anyone sleep so we took him out. Chico was able to sleep for an hour next to my bed till he woke up and started whining sonwe took him back to his krate were once again he began to whine. How do I get him to stop whining and barking so everyone could sleep??

Put the crate in your room at first, with something over the top and 3 sides, a blanket, and a chew toy. Maybe get a wind up clock like a Baby Ben (they find the ticking soothing). Put up with the whining because if you don't, he will never be trained. Make sure he gets plenty of exercise in the evening so he's tired, and pat him a lot as you put him in the crate.
