    Am I pregnant?
My boyfriend and I have been trying to conceive. Although it hasn't been long, June will be the second month of trying. On May 1st I had gotten my menstrual cycle, and ovulated around the 15th of May. My cycle is usually 28 days which would have made my period do on the 28th of May. It never come. I was then 9 days late, taking numerous home pregnancy tests and every one of them were negative. On June 6th I noticed I had started my period. Heavy for the first 2-3 days and then very light. But my period has never been like it was this month. It was clear slimy very stretchy discharge with the blood. A lot of it. And now I am coming to the end of my cycle and it has now turned to brown, but again, brown/clotty discharge. Its actually very hard for me to try and describe it. But Im just wondering because it was such a coincidence that the very first month my boyfriend and I start trying for a baby, I am suddenly 9 days late. And although I got my period, its different from any other month I've had it. Its still lasted as long as my normal period would but different from the rest. Could I still be pregnant?

Pregnant with a heavy period? I very much doubt it. Here's some very good info: Pregnancy Center - WebMD

It is not uncommon for it to take 12 to 24 months to conceive.

I notice from your other posts that you've had problem pregnancies in the past?

No? I've never had any troubles with pregnancies. My boyfriend and I have only been trying for a little over a month. So it wasn't me. And I know that a healthy young couple can conceive within 4 months, but within 1 year should be able to no problem. After a year of trying a lot of doctors will consider fertility clinics if within a year of trying there is no luck. I have a lot of knowledge about pregnancy and such, I just wanted some input from others as to think if there was a chance, already knowing the chance is slim, it still doesn't hurt to ask.
