    Dog stopped eating
My 7 year old dog has decided that he doesn't like to eat HIS food. We have tried EVERYTHING but he will maybe only eat a 1/4 cup. There r days when he DOES eat but it came on about a month ago. We took him to the vet & he checked out just fine. What do I do? He will eat toast and treats.

Depending on the size of your dog and the food you are feeding 1/4 cup may be enough.
Check the feeding instructions on the package for your dog's weight.
He may be also holding out for the treats and toast, or filling up on them and not wanting his meal.
Like humans, some dogs will also eat less in hotter months so take the weather into consideration.
However if he is losing weight or having any other problems like vomiting or diarrhea it would be best to touch base with your vet again.

Thank you sooo much. It has been really really hot here. We live in South Mississippe. I will not worry & let HIM decide when to eat. Thank you again.

It gets pretty hot in the summertime here too and my dogs (all but one) cut down a bit on their meals. But it does help a little with the dog food bill.
But again, if anything out of the ordinary is going on, call your vet.
If he is fine otherwise I wouldn't worry just yet.
