    I don't know about that but too much house pressure can put a strain on your water pipes and faucets. What's your house PSI? Back to you, Tom

    I have only seen this happen once with very old screw handle faucets that were loose and the pressure was high enough to force the screw up. Have never seen it with modern faucets. As Tom asked, what kind of house PSI do you have?
