    Hunter Lugano fan- internal fuse?
Hunter Lugano fan, model has remote and no pull chains with an integrated light fixture. It's on a wall switch, which is usually kept on, and we just operate fan and light with the remote.

A few weeks ago, it stopped working completely. Neither the light nor fan turned on with the remote. Finally got around to troubleshooting it. Remote lit up when keys pressed, so the battery worked, but replaced it anyway, still no go. Followed the dip switch setting change from the manual (remote has the dip switches, the fan assembly learns it and doesn't have switch settings on its own)- turned power off at fuse, changed dip switches, turned poser back on and 3-2-1 on fan speed buttons. Checked and the fan does have 120VAC at the canopy wiring pigtails when the wall switch is on.

Anyone know if the Lugano has an internal fuse somewhere? Is there anything else I can try?

    Thanks!

Finally got Hunter tech support on the phone, the rep was a little short with me but was confident that the remote receiver needed to be replaced. There was never any humming/buzzing or otherwise from the motor, and I don't know if that tells me anything about the state of the motor, but ordered the part with them on the phone so fingers crossed...

Suggest removing remote receiver and connecting fan and/or light directly to power if possible.

If fan runs or light lights that would confirm that the remote is faulty.

Harold- thank you- will give that a try- would you happen to know if the receiver is at the top of the assembly (figuring it should be as it sits between power and motor)?

    Thanks!

Almost every receiver I have seen is in the canopy at the ceiling mount

Package showed up today- for reference, part was labeled Casablanca Versa-Touch 2, model number W72. Replacement was a breeze, pun intended!
