My boyfriend had to move to a different county for work. So I continued to live there and paid and some bills were in my name but I paid them all. I take on a roommate, we did a verbal agreement on rent and bills. He moved in 3 days before scheduled due to emergency. He has been here for 2 weeks now and now refusing to pay, charged up all my bills, and is refusing to put name on agreement. He has a key and is refusing to return it. He threw a party without consent, caused a complaint, and due to his refusals to pay and sign we got 3 days pay or quit. What do I do

Your boyfriend needs to give the 3 day pay or quit and if they don't pay he needs to start eviction

Since your boyfriend is on the lease, he is the landlord to this new roommate. So he has to give the roommate a pay or quit notice. In the meantime, you have to pay the rent due or face eviction.

Let me guess. You didn't get references for this roommate. Did you at least get a deposit.

I'm unclear what bills he is charging up. I can understand if he is using more electricity or water, but what else?
