Ex Boyfriend went back to his ex
I was seeing a boy I meet through a friend. He was very over the top saying he wanted to move in etc. On our first date he came to my cousin's 18th birthday party, on the 3rd date I was having dinner with his parents. Then he took me on a weekend to Glasgow! I only saw him for around a month and a half and were a couple for about a week. However, in this week, I had lost my job, had to do a pregnancy test. I was emotionally all over the place.
While we were in Glasgow he said his ex had text him saying have a good time and I said oh right. I want bothered then on the way back he was talking about his ex. I said as a joke 'you will be telling me next that you buy her birthday and Xmas presents'. He replied saying that he did... I just looked at him and said I did not feel comfortable with this and just cried. He said later why should it matter if I care for him but I could not understand why he would want to buy her presents, not a bottle of wine e.g. he spend £100 quid on her.
He then said he wanted to see her on a one to one basis. It made it worse- he saw it that I was dictating to him but I wasn't as I didn't say he couldn't see her/talk to her just on a one to one basis or buying presents. He ignored me for a few days and then said he wanted to split up. I was about to text him saying that I would meet his ex. However I felt that if he could not give me time or see me then he ain't worth it. I said I wanted nothing to do with him as that is how I deal with breakups cut them off but I had told him this. I then found out later on he was back with another ex the last one who he saw for 3 months.
I don't understand if I was the rebound or what? So confused. I sent him an email to explaining that I needed time etc, the circumstances and wishing him good luck with his new girlfriend. He has not replied!
