I have discovered a lump behind my ear, it has a stinging sensation when I touch it and it's soft. I have asked around and been told of a similar case where he popped it and it then got bigger and re occurs every so often. I just wanted to know what it was and if I should go see a doctor about it.

Any lump should be seen by a Physician. It could be a cyst or something far more serious.
