Thanks for taking time to help me with my question!

I am a US citizen, my wife is Israeli.
I just received a one year job offer in the states starting in two and a half months as a clergy member.
What visa should I apply for, taking into account that I can't wait the estimated 3-6 months for a K visa (spouse), and I am worried even about other work visa's (R etc) that they will take too long.
My wife is not planning on working.
Could she get a tourist visa B1/B2?
Any help is appreciated.
