When should I take a pregnancy test?
I am 29 and my husband and I are trying to have a baby. I've been off BC for 2 months now. I got my period on the 27th of April and again on the 15th of may. I expected it to be irregular from coming off BC. However for the past 3 or 4 days I've had enlarged sore breasts, bloating and fatigue. I took a pregnancy test with first thing in the a.m. and its negative. Am I testing too early? I don't know how to calculate ovulation and what not?

You should test at least a week (2 is better) after you miss your period. If your last period was 5/15 I would wait until the end of June.

Thank you I have never really tracked my period and now I don't really understand "when" on every aspect. Such as menstration, ovulation, next cycle to figure the missed period, and now when to test? Thanks for the advice.

If you are trying to have a child, the first thing you should have done is discuss it with your OB/Gyn
