    No Display New System
    I've put together
    ASUS SOCKET AM2 M2N-SLI DELUXE SOUND/LAN 2000MT/S
    Athlon 3800+ AM2 CPU
    DDR2 RAM 1GB x2
    250GB sata HDD Seagate 7200 rpm 16G
    Thermaltake W0101RB PSU 550W TR2-550W
    Thermaltake CaseTSUNAMI VA3000BNA BLACK
    PNY 7800GT SLI card(s)
    Sony Floppy drive
    Asus DVD+/-Drive

No beeps, power light OK (on supply and motherboard) tried VGAs in other PC and they both work fine tried working XFX 7600GT in new system still no display. Fans work. Tried unplugging drives all of them one at a time and together. The sata plugged into centre black socket on MB.

    Any Ideas?

Did you remember the 4-pin connector? It's a bit hidden between the heat sink and PS2 connectors. It will not boot without it.

Try one vid, no drives, and remove the memory. See if you get a beep from that. If not, problem is likely either system board or processor.

Also, I might note that the ASUS manual for that board says it recommends at minimum a 600W power supply, and more for higher power configurations. Your Thermaltake doesn't meet that recommendation.

Thanks, took the RAM out, put one back in, took that out and found out the brand new RAM was the problem (one of the two 1GB)
The power seems OK. I think Asus anticipate users taking advantage of MEGA MEGA HDD on Sata. My simple plans are for SLI (Two PNY GeForce 7800GTs)
Installed windows tonight (21:42pm here) and all OK but video drivers both cards in but didn't connect them. Will do am tomorrow.
    Thanks again.
