My car is Can not be repaired
Your insurance will cover any damage to the other car and any liability that may arise. Your car will be replaced if you have collision coverage minus your deductible.
Do you have "full coverage" ( collision insuranace) or do you just have liability ?
The liability part of your insurance pays for the other persons car.
The collision coverage pays for your car ( minus your deductable amount)
They your company pays to fix the other persons car.
You get nothing to fix yours, So you junk it, if it can not be fixed and you have to buy another car. I will assume you don't owe anything on it, since most loan places require full coverage insurance. But if you did still owe on it, you will still have to pay for it.
I am sorry, I drive 20 year old car and truck and only carry liability on mine also. So if I have a wreck that is my fault, I am just out.
Since you only have liability, you have no coverage for your car.
I was hit from behind on the driver's side while turning right into a roundabout by a lady's off side front bumper. I am having difficulty explaining it to my solicitor. Please help
Why are you talking to a Solicitor and not your insurance company?
What is an "off side" bumper?
I'm a liability investigator. Are you saying you were in a left-hand lane turning right off a roundabout and a person on your right-hand (passenger's side) somehow hit you on your driver's side with her "off side" front bumper?
How do you get hit on your left side if you're turning right?
I diagrammed it and that explanation doesn't make sense.
