I am a 30 year old male and Ive had braces since feb 2009. During my routine visit, my dentist said we they would be removing the braces within the next 3 to 4 months. I told the denstint my bottom row seemed crooked and didn't think it was going to be done in 3 months. He stated that I would need jaw surgery to fix this problem and keeping the braces on longer would not fix the issue. . Based on my pictures, can anyone give me feedback on if what my dentist is saying appears to be an accurate statement? Or should I ask to keep on my braces on longer?
