My inner labia and my vaginal opening are very raw. This issue started after multiple sexual encounters with my husband. As the raw areas began to heal they began to itch much like a healing scratch or burn itches. Unfortunately for me I rubbed at this area trying to relieve the itching. I also made the mistake of using soap to clean the area. Those things of course made things worse. My labia and vaginal opening are now so raw that they burn when I urinate. I'm sure it's just a matter of time till they heal but in the meantime the burning is so painful that it brings me to tears. Is there any over the counter product I can use to help sooth the pain? This doesn't seem like something I would need to see my doctor for but do I need to see them?

Sounds like thrush, you should get cream for it, it will releave the pain a bit and help it heal up faster.

Megan, we don't diagnose or prescribe on this site. Not even a doctor can do that.

The only advice that should be given is for the poster to see a doctor, someone that can give an actual diagnosis, and an actual prescription.
