Can you collect back child support from deceased
My ex husband owes back child support. He was killed in car accident May 19th. I just found out that he had rececived a settlement in Mar. and another law suit pending. He was remarried, my daughter is only child of his.
Can I pursue back child support
    Thank You

You can file a claim against the estate. Depending on other debts your claim may or may not be paid. But back support is certainly a valid claim against the estate. Find out where the estate has been probated and file a claim with the court. If the estate has not yet been submitted for probate, get an attorney to force it.
