I have a warrant for my arrest for theft under 1000 and Im freaking out
I have a warrant because I have pawn a phone that was mine but I have gotten it from my friend but it had her information in it. So the cops went to the pawn shop and ask for the phone that was not reported stolen.the officer went to my friend job and ask her to right a statement and the she have to press charges. She's not pressing charges. So what do I do? do I need a lawyer? Am I going to need bail?

    Confusing.

Your friend gave you the phone and you pawned it? Where did the police get the idea that the pawn shop had a stolen phone? The pawn shop must have called them.

If that's the case, I don't think you have a problem. Make sure you get a notarized statement from your friend that (s)he gave it to you. Then, if and when it goes as far as trial, Make sure the friend testifies (by being subpoenaed, if necessary).
