Substitute a small, defined set of objects he can chew on each time he starts on what he shouldn't. Kong, rope knot, rawhide, squeaky toy. Put the leash on as soon as someone drives in and hold him 1 foot close when the visitor greets you. Spend 20 minutes twice a day on come, sit, stay, down, heel. Praise and pat him each time he does something right. Give a tiny treat every 10 times or so, but not an exact number that he will expect. Buy a book on puppy training. Again, most of this is training YOU.
