Should I seek medical help for my daughter?
I have a 15 year old daughter who has lost 10lbs in the last 3 months. She was underweight. Now she looks horrible. I can see every bone in her body. She had kidney surgery when she was 6 and was hit by a car when she was 10. She is borderline diabetic. She has had blood taken so further testing can be done. I am waiting for the blood results. Meanwhile I don't know if I should contact her other doctors? She hates the hospital and people fussing over her. Is it possible that something else could be wrong?

    How is her appetite?

I really wish that we could tell you what's going on. My initial thought is anorexia, or bulimia. That's a concern with teens her age. But that's just a guess.

I would definitely contact her other doctors. I'd also ask her to keep track of what she's eating, and how much she's eating.

    I hope everything is okay.

My first guess as well. What is her diet like?
