    Indirect fed water heater
We have an indirect fed water heater (boilermate) which we plan to turn off before we go on vacation - we'll be shutting off the water supply to the entire house. Are there any issues to be concerned with in the turning off and turning back on again in the system? I understand the tank itself won't empty or anything like that but I'm just concerned that in our attempts to do the right thing we'll end up doing the wrong thing!

    Thanks
    DS

Turning off the utilities before leaving on vacation is the cheapest insurance you'll ever get. SMART MOVE! Even a small leak running 24/7 could wipe your place out, I've seen it happen. When you come back simply turn everything back on and you'll be just fine,
Have yourself a great vacation worry free. Regards, Tom
