Are liable for fire if someone visiting with you starts fire
My neighbours had a house fire that caught my house on fire and left us with damages. We had to pay the detucible of $500. The insurnce says that their insurance will not pay us back due to the fire was starting by a family member that was staying with them and they are not liable. The fire started from a lit smoke in a planter with peetmoss. How do I get my money back it was not my fault, Can I sue the family member?

Yes you can sue the family member, and personally I would sue the home owner who owns the house also, since it was his fire.

Is your insurance not going to sue their insurance,
