Its one of my fingernails, my index finger. Some kid jammed it with the school door hard. I didn't get any stitches, but the docor sais I most probably lost my fingernail forever, since it tetached from the nailbed. Now I have I pool party next week, do you think I can still go? Will it get inefected?

It will likely grow back.. but expect it to take 6 months before its all the way back in,

Its going to be sensitve for a few weeks... if its only been a week since it came off, I'm really not sure. If it was a month ago.. I'd say it healed enough.
