    Whirlpool dryer squealing
    Hi, my whirlpool dryer is squealing very loudly, it started a couple of days ago just a little, now it is constant, what can I do to fix it? Thx

    You probably need a new drum bearing. You did not say which one you had so here are the manuals with instructions: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/8010163/Whirlpool%20Dryers.zip
    The job is really easy; just be sure to clean it very well. Take it all apart and clean every part with soap and water except the motor. Vacuum out motor, and the housing for the elements sometimes is covered with lint residue like concrete, as the rest of the drier will be. Even the air passages in the door need to be cleaned out. Don't miss anything or it will fail quickly. Make sure to replace the belt and any support rollers, if worn, and lubricate all with white lithium grease.
