Can I be charged with abandonment for leaving my daughter with her bio father
We are good parents just going through some things so I was moving our stuff back to our hometown.I left her with him so I could fly back to get her instead of her taking a two day trip.She was with him the whole time cps came and took her from him and the charges we both face is child abandonment and neglect but she has never been abused and I gave them full access to all her medical records.
Can anyone tell me what I did wrong?

Without seeing the CPS file, no, I have no idea why leaving a child with her father for two days causes charges of abandonment and neglect.

They needed her medical records? Who filed the complaint? What are the charges concerning neglect?
