    Felony convictions after 32 years
    How do I find a job after working in a job for 14 years and the company discovered that I had a convictions 32 years ago? Do I have any repercussion with the company? The company discovered via a website. Please help me out I was put on administrative leave today 6/4/12, and they are supposed to call me back within 5 days after talking to their legal department.. If anyone has suggestions please let me know

    You have no right to the job, so there's nothing legal you can do. If it's up to LAWYERS now, rather than your boss, or the HR department, you can kiss your job goodby.

    Why lawyers, anyway?? Why is it NOT up to your boss?

    Why after 14 years of employment is a conviction 32 years ago important to your employer? Was there a bonding problem, something else?
