I'm fairly sure the woman can dress herself, without the help of any officer.

Instead of asking abstract questions, why not give us the full story. If a warrant is issued to search the premises, then a female officer is not necessary. A female officer would only be necessary if the warrant included searching the bodies of the occupants.

As for telling a woman to get dressed. If the police have a valid search warrant they will knock on the door. They generally will not enter or break in unless they have reason to believe the premises is occupied.

If they enter the house and find a naked anyone, they can instruct them to get dressed. If they identified themselves prior to entering and the parties did not cover up, then I don't see a problem with making sure they don't hide something while dressing.

So, the circumstances can have a bearing on the answer.
