I missed my period for 3 weeks now, I am always tired & with headaches. At first I just missed my period but then I had light brown discharge very light. It would go & come. It got very dark almost black but now it is getting lighter & Ive noticed a little spotting of reddish brown is starting. By the way I am sexually active & do not always use protection. I am just trying to find out what is wrong. I also do not use any pills & ave tooken 2 test & both came out negative

Wait until your next period is due. If you miss that, then try testing again. Make sure to use first morning urine.

Brown discharge is old blood. It could be that you're just having an off month, but we can only guess. We really can't tell you what's going on with any degree of certainty.
