My Husband has left me after 15 years of marriage saying that he needed time to think about if he still wanted to be with me and our 3 children. I stupidly said if he was not happy maybe he should go then (so basically I gave him a get out clause and he took it). This was 4 weeks ago. He is to screwed up to be having an affair I`m thinking midlife crisis. HELP! ANY IDEAS?

You did not give him a "out" if he wanted to leave he would have anyway.

What you do if you want to try and save it, See if he will go to marriage counseling with you

You need to find out what his reasons are. After 15 years of marriage people don't usually just get up and leave, I mean don't get me wrong it can happen, but there's probably some reasoning. Ever think of what might be going awry? Do you guys have a good sex life? Do you guys get out just the two of you? Do you still communicate well? Sit and think about what could be going wrong, and why he may have wanted to leave. If you can't find anything, maybe he is just bored and wants out, but it's unlikely.

I wouldn't guess on the affair question. Maybe you can justify his behavior, maybe not.

I'd sit him down and talk to him.
