    Why does my laptop see my neighbors wireless and not mine
    I have an Acer laptop and a wireless router but my laptop sees my nieghbors wireless and not my own - why is that?

    Could also be a frequency issue. Maybe the wireless band from your router is different than your laptop. (2.4 vs 5.1 GHz)
