    Proper toilet to use
    Can I use a 14" rough-in toilet if I only have 13.5" rough-in?

There's an little play in the flange slots so I'd say, Yes you can. Good luck, Tom

Hopefully 1/2" is workable. If necessary your can get an offset flange and move the toilet that way.

I should add that with a 12" bowl we rough in at 12" off the string(unfinished wall) but when the drywall is installed the distance then becomes 11 3/8ths All our 12" bowls set with no problems. Good luck, Tom
