Ok, so here is my questions.

I spoke with an attorney that said I am not inadmissible because I signed a voluntary departure 3 days before I turned 19 years old.

The only reason I was inadmissible was because everybody thought that I was in the United States for longer than 1 year illegally, however, this attorney informed me that the 1 year starts when I turned 18 and it stops the day the voluntary departure is signed. If that is true, then I should be granted a visa, right?

So, my questions is can I call the immigration office and talk to them about what is going on or do I have to use an attorney for this? Also, if I can call, what is the number that I call?
