    DNA test while pregnant?
I'm 22 weeks pregnant. I found out I was pregnant at 8 weeks. Around the time I got pregnant I had sex with 2 people. Well, I was told you could get a DNA done while you are pregnant. Is that true. I want to know ASAP. One of the guys is going off into the army soon. Possibly before she is born. Please get back thank you .

Yes, that is true, new testing allows this, but you still have to determine which guy it is by having them get tests as well. Otherwise how would you know which one? Better get your calendar out and start counting days. These tests are not free you know!

You can but only in extreme reasons. It is very dangerous for the baby, so no one will do it just to find out who the father is. Once the baby is born you can do the DNA test.

Yes it is true. But no doctor will perform the test except in extreme circumstances. And determining paternity is not considered an extreme circumstance.

Okay thank you. I was told to talk to my doctor but I don't see her until next month.

Certainly ask your doctor, but I think she will tell you the same thing we have.
