I want to get my cartilage pierced pros and cons
Basically I really want to get my cartalige done I am 16 so legally I can, however my parents are very set in the fact that I can't get it done, they really don't want me to get it done, there excuse is "i wont get a proper job" this is bull as 1 job seeking is not all about appearance and 2 if it does matter it is a piercing so I can take it out. I really need help persuading them otherwise because I don't want to ruin my relationship with my parents over a small piercing but at the same time I want to be like 'ha I got it done!'

Please help immedietly with your views

    :) thanks

Who is the "ha" for? Your parents?

Here's my rule - my house, my rules. When you live on your own you can pierce anything and everything. Until then - my rules.

Where do you live that allows piercing without parental permission at 16?

Who supports, feeds and clothes, your body?

It's not fair. Life is not fair. Life was not fair when I was 16. That's why I got an education, a job and moved out, make my own decisions.

Maybe you can cover up your belly piercing but not your ears. I have no idea.

Not many respectable professions reveal their navels, thus a belly button piercing is acceptable in several ways. Most respectable professions frown on piercings, other than ears, and this can hold you back from making money in your future.

Your parents' house, their rules. You have 2 years before you can move out and do whatever you want with your body, but remember that whatever you do might actually end up holding you back from a good career.

Its your ear right because yous nose is also cartilage anyway
If it is your ear say you can cover with your hair that's what I do and getting an ear pierced isn't that big of a deal they should be happy you arnt get a percing on your face

And if it is your nose then I don't know
