    Felony probation and not convicted
I had my car illegally taken and am now sueing the township. Their response was indicting me on felony charge for permitting drug abuse. I answered the indictment and went to court. I went to jail got let out on an or bond and got put on felony probation. How can I get put on probation and not be convicted of the crime? That isn't innocent until proven guilty. This is in the state of Ohio.

OK.. then you have not yet been convicted... but you do have to comply with the terms of the bond or probation (those papers you signed when they released you)... or they can and will make you sit in jail until the trial. As big a PITA as it is... it could be worse. Hope you found yourself a good lawyer.
