It is a fairly common fetish and there is nothing wrong with it as long as it isn't interfering in other areas of your life. If it is then you have to decide if you can control it on your own or if you need help.

Something you can try is changing the subject or focus of your thoughts. If you find yourself thinking about rubber and latex, start thinking about song lyrics or anything else that requires you to concentrate on what you are doing. It isn't an immediate 'fix', but over time and with effort you will find yourself thinking less and less about the fetish.

If the fetish is so strong that it has taken over your life and how you dress and interact with others, then you may need professional help.

Not my thing.. but some men and women get into it. If you find a partner into it as well... more power to you.
