Can I move to another state if I have joint legal custody?
The father of my child and I were never married, but he is on the birth certificate. Can my child and I move to another state?

If you have joint custody, what does the custody agreement say, if he is using his joint custody how can he do it, if you are not living in the same state.

Normally he will have to agree and/or if he does not you will have to get the courts permission.

I am just looking into it before I do anything. I am from another state, only 2 hours from where we are now. That's where all of my family is and where I grew up. I just want to go home, but want to make sure that my baby can go too.
