My dog a 6year old female Labrador retriever has started breathing fast and walking funny. Her stomachs hard and she can't seen to jump on the couch... help!

Vet ASAP, from the little information you've given it could possibly be bloat a condition that occurs when the stomach essentially flips over.
That is just a guess I could be totally wrong but you need to get her in to see the vet, sooner rather than later.

She probably has bloat or a twisted stomach.

If you don't get medical help NOW, she is going to die a very slow and painful death.
